I read today in the New York Times that the FCC has decided cell phones on flights is a no go, not because it would irritate fellow passengers but because it is not sure the networks could handle the traffic. Cellphone use in public places, and especially on public transport, is already increasing our daily stress levels. I am amazed that anyone would consider increasing it even more.
