The Department of Defense has identified 3,630 American service members who have died since the start of the Iraq war. It confirmed the deaths of the following Americans yesterday:

ADAMS, Shawn G., 21, Sgt., Army; Dixon, Calif.; 25th Infantry Division.

TWITTY, Bobby L., 20, Lance Cpl., Marines; Bedias, Tex.; Second Marine Expeditionary Force.
