The Department of Defense has identified 3,723 American service members who have died since the start of the Iraq war. It confirmed the deaths of the following Americans on Monday:

MEDLICOTT, Matthew S., 21, Lance Cpl. , Marines; Houston; First Marine Division.

MORLEY, Joshua L., 22, Sgt., Army; Boise, Idaho; 82nd Airborne Division.

WILLIS, Tracy C., 21, Sgt., Army; Marshall, Tex.; 82nd Airborne Division.
