The Department of Defense has identified 3,877 American service members who have died since the start of the Iraq war. It confirmed the deaths of the following Americans yesterday:

HERNANDEZ, Eric J., 26, Sgt., Army; Waldwick, N.J.; 101st Airborne Division.

SNYDER, Adam P., 26, Capt., Army; Fort Pierce, Fla.; 101st Airborne Division.

WHITE, Dewayne L., 27, Pvt., Army; Country Club Hills, Ill.; 101st Airborne Division.
